Our client is a global financial institution with a growing presence in India. They are actively looking for a site lead for one of their growing captives seeking for an experienced individual for VP - Settlements. Some of the key responsibilities will include: - Provides leadership to the relevant team in structuring- and/or negotiating- the terms of the transaction in accordance with product specification and business strategic objectives. Ensures negotiations of underlying contract carried out by the team accurately reflect the nature of contracted roles and obligations in line with client and business objectives. Promotes a consistent document review and deal closing process for the team. - Provides first escalation point on relevant transactions. Reviews escalated issues (which may include matters of a complex legal and/or regulatory nature) and works with BNY Mellon businesses and clients to resolve potential issues. - Contributes to/provides guidance as to the implementation of the operating and/or administrative protocols for the Transaction Management activities of the relevant team. Makes recommendations for process improvements. Uses subject-matter expertise on specific segment and transaction practices and methodologies to direct on resolution of operational and/or transactional issues as required. - Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
