Vice President/Senior Vice President - Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering Services

Looking to hire a S/VP Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering for a leading passenger vehicle company.

We need candidates from 4 wheeler + EV manufacturing experience.

Should have set up production line, stamping, general assembly, paint shop, production line end to end.

Purpose of the role:

Built the premium care on Battery run passenger vehicle. Setup, Steer and Oversee the manufacturing activities for passenger 4W vehicle, ensure production numbers & quality as per targets and drive manufacturing engineering effort along with industrial/labor relations (IR) at manufacturing locations.

Tasks & Accountabilities:

Production Process:

- Lead, direct and monitor production at the plant

- Oversee manufacturing engineering - incl. equipment selection and layout Monitor and evaluate assembly and make recommendations for process improvement

- Ensure, directly or indirectly, the optimization of the production performance for 4W and battery

- Manage performance monitoring and reporting

- Budget and plan the production
-o Ensure compliance with targets

Quality Monitoring:

- Ensure compliance with company policy and SOPs

- Propose and execute initiative to enhance productivity/profitability - Maximize production efficiency and optimize manpower usage

- Facilitate and supervise the complete and smooth integration of changes to the existing production stream as required from time to time

Risk mitigation and management:

- Ensure safety norms compliance at the production facility

- Work closely with procurement to maintain supply of materials required for production

- Maintain IR escalations from manufacturing plants

- Drive maintenance and ensure plant uptime targets

Skills, Abilities & Know-how:

- Leadership experience in large automotive organizations

- Profound experience in managing automotive production facilities including 4W EV production experience and management of large teams

- Experienced with mentoring and fostering teams for new production facilities - Strong problem-solving skills with strong judgment to make decisions - Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner

- Exceptional communication, people & leadership skills

Education & Experience:

- Master's degree in engineering or relevant fields

- MBA preferred

- 20+ year's experience in a senior managerial position handling manufacturing processes and quality

Background:

- 4W EV experience critical

- Strong local and/or international experience

- Automotive experience required
