Vice President - Security Lending

- Leading a 2-3 member team for delivering day to day activities listed below

- Oversight and daily monitoring of the securities lending program in operation for global fund ranges.

- Monitor daily collateral reports to ensure collateral value is sufficient versus value of the stock on loan

- Escalate/resolve issues/concerns in a timely manner

- Monitor failed trade reports on a daily basis and follow-up with local offices & lending agent

- Resolve issues in a timely manner in conjunction with the local investment and lending agent where appropriate,

- Track accuracy of lending fees and ensure appropriate allocation and accruals in the fund ranges

- Ensure timely and accurately compiled monthly/quarterly MI reporting by fund range

- Work with the broader Fund Services Management team on initiatives like developing metrics to assess volumes and capacity assessment

- Develop an end to end automated flow for Securities Lending Program with the vendor

Qualifications - External

- Strong technical knowledge about the securities lending activities and a minimum of 5 years in Asset management Industry

- Atleast 12 years of overall industry experience in relevant roles

- Experience working in different functions to support securities lending and other operational activities like NAV, Fees etc

- Experience of working within a matrix organisation.

- Good understanding of the operating models for Funds

- Knowledge of different asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives).

- Global stakeholder management experience and analytical thinking.

- Experience in implementing automated workflows

- Good communications skills and relationship building, able to work effectively with all levels.

- CA/CFA/ACCA certification would be beneficial
