Primary Responsibilities

Assess alerted transactions identified by the Screening systems, close false matches and identify potential matches using available information and escalate such matches for Analysis. Perform the assessment in accordance with the procedure laid down in the AAA processes and Country Addendum.

Analyse cases escalated for Analysis and/or Further Analysis in the unit. Perform the analysis / Further analysis in accordance with the procedure laid down in the AAA processes and Country Addendum.

Where identified, escalate case for Further Analysis by Country. Where such escalation is not required, close the case. Support every decision with detailed audit record of the rationale for decision making.

Processing of transactions should be done online, within the turnaround time (TAT) and should adhere to the quality guidelines.

Perform Quality Control checks for assessments performed on pre-cases and analysis on cases in the unit and provide feedback for improvement / training needs.

Share best practices with peers and support in creating a - FCC Risk Management Culture of Excellence.

Ensure Technology / Risk issues identified are reported and escalated to the AVP in a timely manner.

Ensure team members adhere to country addendum and policies

Handle exceptions reports of the unit and drive for process improvements

Complete all mandatory e-learning modules within stipulated timelines and attend trainings for which nominated

Uphold the values of the Group at all times

Ensure Compliance with applicable Local regulations and Group policies

Manage the BCP / DR testing in addition to taking appropriate measure for managing crisis situation.

Handle Service management and handle Service Review Meetings of the Screening service to the countries.

Work in Shift according to Business requirement.

Secondary Responsibilities

Assign pre-cases and cases to Junior Analysts, Analysts and Senior Analysts of the unit keeping in mind their availability, expertise and performance.

Manage roster arrangements for the unit to ensure maximum utilization of staff / resources.

Handle escalations from within the unit as well as from stakeholders and provide amicable solutions.

Handhold new joiners in performing their BAU activities.

Conduct team meetings to address issues and track performance of the unit based on work time and MIS.

Conduct on-floor trainings for the team members based on issues identified and/or feedback received from Quality Control & Quality Assurance checks.

Assist in preparation of MIS.

Adhoc Responsibilities

Participate in testing and other activities required for the running of the unit.

Cooperate and support the management in implementation of any other initiative that may arise during the course of the year.

Sanctions and screening (name and transaction) surveillance skills

Analysis skills: able to analyze data, working knowledge of Internet and MS Office Suite & independently assimilate, analyse and evaluate information from disperse data sources to determine a course of action (e.g. case closure or escalation), and record and communicate this decision clearly and concisely.

Banking: knowledge in terms of customers, products and transactions

Banking operations experience (Client Due Diligence, payments, trade, markets or other) and service oriented attitude.

Excellent communication in English (articulation and writing).
