The company produces excellent quality writing and printing paper, and they are the leading manufacturer of tissue and board, as well as Rayon Grade Pulp (RGP) products. They have the largest single location manufacturing facility in India with an estimated revenue of $24.1 million. Our client continues to be the committed employer of the local community and has achieved many international standards like OHSAS and FSC as a leading producer of pulp and paper.
As a VP Sales - Tissue Retail, you will be responsible for the Sales leadership for the business and managing the P&L, budgeting and reporting structure of the vertical.
You will be responsible for adding new clients across regions and directing the national sales efforts. While working in concert with the sales management team to grow our overall revenue.
What you will do -
- Identifying and driving national sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals
- Managing Inventory and rates to maximize stations revenue and share
- Identifying and evaluating target industry segments, high-priority location/customer- clusters by generating regular insights about the location specific environment and customer shifts and initiating targeted action to achieve the plan
- Working and planning closely with multiple stakeholders [design/technology] to drive flawless execution of service strategy and structure
- Implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan
- Analyzing market situations by studying various data points and making accurate forecasting in revenue for all stations for national and regional accounts
- Directing the Sales team and establishing sales targets at national level and helping them in breaking the same geographically and with monthly targets
- Developing a healthy investor database across regions
- Focusing on increasing the Brand Equity - Marketing / Promotional Spend Effectiveness across regions
- Managing and executing the Political strategies and business for the channels/stations
- Mapping competition and pre-empting competition movement to pre-actively strategise and execute actions
- Building relationships with distributors and identifying opportunity areas to improve basis channel feedback
- Understanding customer needs both explicit and implicit to build product portfolio in line with customer requirements
- Understanding the macro and micro environmental factors that can impact business decisions
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- Should have worked in the Retail Industry for at least the last 5 years
- MBA from a recognized university
- FEMALE Candidates required
- Willing for moderate Pan-India travel
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- High commercial acumen with strong client relationship management
- Should be well organized, display a professional demeanour, exude high energy with great attention to detail
- Drive and passion to roll up the sleeves and get the job done
