Urgently looking for VP - Sales for a leading Media and Post Production company.
Location : Singapore
Job purpose:
- VP-Sales will be responsible for all sales activities, sales personnel and customer satisfaction. Individual will also develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes organisation's opportunities in the TV/Broadcast & Service Provider sector in Asia Pacific.
- Setting-up and executing a Business Development / sales strategy & activity plan.
- Analyzing customer needs, advising customers and answering their questions, in order to achieve the commercial objectives and optimize the relationship.
- Following up the sales proposals and activities of his team and deliver monthly precise and up to date sales forecast.
- Responsible for providing an annual Sales Plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan.
- Responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all of the functional departments of the company.
Responsibilities:
Key Activities:
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets, Staffing
- Coordinating, following up and reviewing the implementation of the sales and marketing plan
- As head of a sales team be responsible for carrying out the plan, in order to achieve the agreed objectives in the short term and to ensure that the business strategy is achieved in the medium term
- Cooperating with internal divisions like marketing / product/ pre-sales, Bid management team, support to succeed in working out the daily operations
- Direct Sales & Indirect Sales (if applicable)
Proposals, forecast, contracts, market:
- Creating proposals
- Forecasting on regular basis (and quarterly review towards the executive team)
- Reporting sales results and any relevant market information
- Identifying and active searching for new prospects, analyzing sales potential and work out sales activities
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 12-18 years’ experience in a sales role in Media and Entertainment Industry. Prior experience with Broadcast client relationships will be key
- A successful track record of delivering sales in line with budgets within a Senior Sales role.
- High degree of comfort with technology and prior experience in selling IT/ITES M&E industry is preferable. More importantly, ability to build connect to the CEO / COO & CXO of the target organisations is most crucial.
- Excellent teamwork skills, strong organizational, time management, negotiation, communication skill
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MBA degree from a premier institution is must
- Experience of handling a Sales team & a Pre-sales team plus working with Engineering & product groups
