Vice President of Sales & Marketing (Hedge fund)
- Actively and continuously meet new potential clients across HNI, family office, corporate treasury and broker categories with active follow-up to drive conversion
- Independently acquire and manage new clients and meet the targets as defined by KRA
- Brainstorm new ideas on reaching out to new clients
- Manage onboarding process for all new clients: Handle documentation & related queries with the client and liaise with custodian/clearer or fund admin or brokers as required
- Maintain CRM to streamline marketing by inputting all meeting notes, updating follow-ups and generating various pipeline reports across all products (working closely with our current Investor Relations Analyst)
- Monitor and address clients Investment-related requirements
- Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive higher - share of wallet- with each client
- Ensure compliance with key regulatory and bank level requirements
- Follow-up with distributors and 3rd party marketers for initiating them to market our various products
Required Skills and Qualifications -
- Proven ability to close new business (convert prospective investors into clients for one or more of our investment products)
- An outspoken and easy to mingle individual
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills required
- Highly motivated Self-starter who works hard and multi-tasks effectively
- Keen attention to detail is absolutely critical with strong process-oriented attitude
- Experience working in team environment
- Strong PowerPoint skills required
- CRM database experience and graphics design experience preferred
- Ability to travel extensively within India
- Minimum 3 years of Sales/Marketing experience within Financial Services
- Prior work-experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Mutual Fund or Stock Broking industries
