Role - Vice President Sales ( USA - East Coast ) ( Analytics Setup)

Job Role:
VP- Sales, would play a key role in building / enhancing the customer footprint in the US analytics services sector and also ensure retention of customers. The role will require leveraging and building upon ones network of analytics professionals with a view to uncover new revenue opportunities and winning new relationships, particularly with the Marketing Analytics and Digital Analytics teams in target industry sectors (Telecommunications, Technology, Retail, CPG and Media & Entertainment). The ideal candidate must possess a demonstrated track record of winning multi-million dollar analytics engagements with Fortune 250 companies. In particular, the candidate would be comfortable securing and managing SVP/VP level relationships, and playing the role of a trusted advisor when it comes to strategizing around analytical initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Deliver against revenue targets set with Geo leadership
- Develop & pursue a pipeline of prospects and opportunities for the Organisation
- Design and execute Organisations offering/win strategy within each prospect
- Work collaboratively with Functional teams and SME's in building standard & customized proposals for prospects.
- Manage deal closures in conjunction with BU Leadership
- Ensure appropriate post-win traction by liaising with account management and delivery teams
- Represent the Organisation at Industry conferences and other events
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- 7 to 12 Yrs into sales and client service experience with specific experience in Marketing Analytics, Digital Analytics, Predictive Analytics
- Demonstrated sales performance in the relevant area over a material timeframe
- Experience growing client relationships
- Understanding of the analytics marketplace
- Understanding the broad technological landscape relevant to the digital/analytics domain
- Strong problem solving capabilities with an analytical mind-set
- Solid commercial and general business acumen
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Highly motived, with a strong orientation toward client relationships
- Ability to handle pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work well with a diverse customer base and various internal teams
- Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership
- BS/BA degree required; an MBA is a plus
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Significant travel within the US will be a part of the role.
