Vice President - Safety & Environment Compliance Head

- Lead safety and environmental management systems across airport facilities, ensuring SMS implementation through audits and inspections. Drive regulatory compliance, foster safety culture, and spearhead environmental initiatives. Coordinate investigations, promote safety awareness, reduce environmental impact, and monitor stakeholder compliance to achieve zero incidents.

Overall safety oversight and safety performance of

- Promote safety culture among the airport community

- Interact with Government statutory bodies as safety representative (Safety Investigation Coordinator to DGCA)

- Convener/Chairman of various Safety Action Groups/Committees/forums and chair structured safety meetings with internal & external stakeholders

- Take measures to implement Green initiatives and Promote Environment Conservation including publishing of sustainability report

- Analyze consumption patterns of water and reduce the consumption

- Analyze consumption patterns of power and reduce consumption

- Meet overall regulatory requirement on safety and health and build a "Safety Culture"

Strengthen sustainability initiatives

- To plan & implement initiatives to promote Environment day , Safety week etc and to involve stakeholders in this journey

- Special projects and assignments Lead any safety intervention / certification at organization level like British Safety Council and to ensure that the re-audit requirements are completed and the certification validity is renewed

- Enhance stakeholder awareness on safety and environment compliance requirements through trainings, awareness sessions and campaigns

- Ensure all major changes undergo 'Management of Change' process through meticulous safety assessment

- Safety audits and inspections of internal/external agencies in line with Safety Management System

- Reduction in Green-house-Gas (GHG) and overall carbon footprint effects to effectively control environment impact aspects

- Effective control and monitoring of outsourced activities of the department from the Safety & Environment compliance point of view

- Responsible for the budget and achievement of organizational strategy and AOP of safety & environment team.

- Manage and mentor the staff to enhance their competencies in sync with deliverables.

- Enhancing employee engagement
