RISK CONTAINMENT UNIT

The role Risk containment Unit (RCU) as a department is broadly categorized into the following:

- Internal control function and action on suspect transactions

- Ensuring compliance to Process/Systems/Controls by conducting Process Visits

- Investigation & Root Cause Analysis of fraud/dispute cases

- Verification of sample basis at the Pre - Account set up stage

Job Role

- Review & maintenance of policy & procedures for RCU (Liabilities)

- Analysis of RCU activities and initiating proactive changes in the policy

- Provide Process related clarification to Field Team as and when required.

- Understand the requirements from Field and get the same implemented on a system for smoothing of day to day Field activities.

- Monitor the audits pertaining to RCU Vendors as well as Collection Agencies.

- Audit of Pre Account screening & sampling for RL led sourcing including coordination with vendors

- Raising alerts to branches and follow-up on alerts for all negative cases

- Logical conclusion to all samples with either a negative or positive alert

Preference from Banking industry. Last 5-6 yr experience in Branch Banking
