- Providing a capability to own, manage and deliver continual risk improvement initiatives;
- Providing an advisory capability to assist the business in the determination and assessment of inherent and conduct risk and its subsequent potential impact across the business;
- Facilitating the coordination of second / third Line of Defense reviews/ exams to ensure the appropriate engagement of all key interested parties and subsequent management/ challenge of identified risk issues;
- Challenging the line operations team in sustainably embedding policy and the Operational Risk Management Framework, ensuring that appropriate supporting evidence is obtainable;
- Partnering with the business in the management of day to day risk within our front to back Risk & Control Assessments (RCA), providing expertise to effect credible challenge and support within the First Line of Defense;
- Supporting the Business in the identification, analysis, root cause investigation, documentation, identification of remediation and subsequent tracking through our Operation Risk systems;
- Acting as DBIRO (Deputy Business Information Risk Officers) to ensure appropriate internal controls and procedure for Information Risk is in place and functioning as intended;
- Actively promoting a positive risk culture and conduct;
- Effective engagement and good relationship with all stakeholders
