VP : Right Shoring : GBS Enablement : Investment Bank


RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Determine book of work and work with business teams and align RSE objectives to the business goals

- Serve as a thought leader for Right shoring processes, developing forward-thinking initiatives that promote increased efficiency and productivity at multiple levels.

- Own action plans to deliver objectives with clear indication of financial and non-financial benefits

- Active contribution to organization wide initiatives across GBS and group

- Lead a high performing team of migration managers which can undertake complex migrations across various Business Units and Functions involving a book of work with ~300-500 FTEs

- Work with the business partners and provide consultancy and transition planning / execution support through a robust framework and methodology

- Ensure robust adherence of migrations methodology and governance needs

- Establish a good mechanism to benchmark and capture learning's from prior migrations

- Work closely with various functional teams i.e Property, Finance, Talent Acquisition, etc to continuously review Shared Service readiness to accommodate future growth

- Conduct periodic reviews of existing talent and facilitate employee development through internal and external means

- Building strong, influential & trusted stakeholder relationships at all levels; with focus on senior group level stakeholders

- Act as a conduit between all key stakeholders COO teams to ensure that our strategic agenda is delivered effectively despite potentially conflicting agendas & priorities of our stakeholders.

- Effectively communicate the strategic agenda and progress through regular face to face engagement & timely communication (e.g. via email, in PED steering committees, business forums & project updates)

- Other than above roles, job holder should follow other job duties and responsibilities assigned by line manager from time to time.

- Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Bachelor/PG degree from a reputable university

- Minimum of 13+ years experience in banking field, with proven track record in leadership role in Project Management of Information Technology projects

- Have experience managing migrations for large captives

- Have knowledge of structured project management methodologies such as PMI PMBOK and must be experienced in applying project management knowledge, skills, tools, concepts, and techniques.

- In-depth experience in Change, Vendor and Resources management.

- Experience in project planning, process improvement, performance measurement, and managing a project life cycle.

- Have exposure or experience in managing teams across geographies

- Strong analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong influencing skills with strong team orientation.

- Able to handle multi-tasks, manage time effectively and perform under pressure.

- Able to work at flexible hours and travel

- Project Management and/ Agile experience/ certification
