We are having an opening for VP-Revenue with well established and growing start-up in Gurgoan

Job Profile: VP - Revenue

Role & Responsibility

This is a leadership role in which the person will be owning all revenue channels of our company

You will be responsible to identify, develop and execute sales strategies, with the goal of driving significant revenue and establishing leadership position within the consumer Internet industry.

This is a full time position to be based out of Gurgaon and the person will be reporting to CEO

Responsibilities :-

- Build, manage and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, online ad networks, agencies, business partners.

- Create aggressive sales pitch, seal new business and also make sure that the delivery is being met to clients, responsible for end-to-end sales process .

- Effective sales planning based on the time of the year to make sure that the inventory is fully utilized and maximize ROI .

- Creating an optimal smart & aggressive sales team. Apart from new business, the role includes account development to have long term business association with clients.

- Drive results in a fast paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a strong vision

Key responsibilities include:

Media Sales & Monetization :-

- Own and Grow media sales revenue (annual target of a few million $s).

- Build and manage small pan-India team of media sales people.

- Identify targets and create custom pitches for top brands, advertisers and media spenders.

- Increase ad revenues through mix of direct sales, ad networks and strategic monetization opportunities.

- Liaise with top media media agencies and advertisers to build pipeline and increase sales

- Analyze and optimize revenue mix through product, partnerships and placements

- Create new monetization avenues

- Identify and close opportunities for selling impression-based, click-based and lead-based advertising in mobile apps Strategic Partnerships & Alliances .

- Build strategic partnerships with tourism boards, agencies, advertisers and tourism ministries of states and central government.

- Build partnerships with recurring revenue potential for core product funnel and apps

Qualification Summary :-

- At least a Bachelor / Masters degree in Sales & Marketing preferably from a top B School OR Equivalent experience .

- 10+ years of experience in online media sales and strategic partnerships

- Excellent communication skills

Must Have:

- Strong media Sales experience with proven track record of achieving media sales revenue for the organization

- Genuine passion for sales, understand the online media market and its growth potential both on web and mobile.

- Proven experience in building a result oriented sales function within Start-up environment.

- Strong understanding of the Internet media space, search engines, online advertising players and related business models .

- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally .

- The ability to work under pressure meet targets and have exceptional time management skills and should be good with numbers Compensation: Commensurate to skills & experience; comparable to the best in the industry .
