Position Role: VP - Compliance Regulatory Advisory (Retail Assets)

Location: Kalina Corp Office, Mumbai

Reporting: Head - Chief Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide advisory to business teams on regulatory/compliance issues. Actively engage with them to ensure effective implementation of such guidelines. Assist business to effectively assess any regulatory change.

2. Regulatory Reporting- Setting up processes & ownership structure to ensure timely reporting, including periodic submission of returns to RBI, submission of data within TAT pertaining to adhoc requests, clarifying queries on such reportings raised by regulators and coordination with RBI for all such submissions. Supporting/ hand-holding the business, finance, risk and operations team in understanding the regulatory requirements.

3. Acting as the focal point of contact during RBI Inspection, coordinating with various departments for data requests, ensuring submission of the data within timelines. Closely monitoring RBI Inspection observations and ATR.

4. Identifying & implementing policies/ process in line with extant guidelines and responses to the queries / clarifications sought by various Business / Credit / Operations / Support functions. Responsible for periodic review of policies. Ensuring approval from Board/ Committees

5. Product launch compliances / Asset Compliances, providing feedback from the Compliance stand point. Advise business and support units in compliance issues arising in their operations and business.

6. Responsible for application for various licences and registrations. Putting together all required documents, discussion with stakeholders on various aspects, consolidating information received and submission to RBI as per the formats advised. Providing timely details/ clarifications, as and when asked by RBI

7. Preparation of compliance related agenda for Board and Committee meetings. Discussion with Senior Management and other concerned stakeholders. Presentations for the Board

8. Review of responses to complaints received from RBI/ Ombudsman. Ensuring the complaints are responded within TAT.

9. Preparation and review of compliance budget.
