We are recruiting Vice President Regional Sales at Chennai for our client - A state of the art logistics facilitator & a fully fledged transportation company having 1200 + trucks and a total of 48 branches across India.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Position : Vice President Regional Sales at Chennai.
Package : 30 Lac to 35 Lac per annum.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- This position is responsible for leading complex solutions; developing and implementing strategies with vertical and competitors; and formalizing plans.
- Prior Sales experience with sales of 3PL transportation services is a priority.
- Focus on growing the following products :
- Need Based / Critical
- End to End (E2E)
- Supply Chain Lab - Solutions
- RFQ / Project
- The selected candidate will ensure the core business is being maintained while working across the organization to build new opportunities, diversify and grow the revenue base and ensure viable options are in place for the long-term.
- Serving as a key member of the senior management team, the selected candidate will drive value-creating insights, recommendations, and solutions across multiple projects, and communicate with senior executives to develop and implement selected courses of action.
- Develop and nurture relationships with customers; develop new business opportunities and service offerings and participate in logistics associations such as ISCEA, CII, CSCMP, or other similar organizations as well as organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development (in the appropriate areas), etc.
