Vice President Quality Assurance
Role Description Overview :
This person oversees Quality and Operational Excellence team who also will serve as a change agent, driving a continuous & sustainable improvement culture based on Quality and Operational Excellence
Responsibility Areas :
1. Alignment of quality strategy with business strategy and the organization vision
2. Shaping, and delivering organizational performance through a range of Quality management/Service quality practices that are driven by strategy, integrated with other processes and grained as quality talent mindset
3. Ability to drive change across cross-functional teams and organizations
4. Ability to innovate and lead continuous improvement activities through involvement and engagement.
5. Subject matter expert in all methodologies associated with Lean (Six Sigma Black Belt, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
6. Providing counsel to Opex team and directing them with overall management of the organization
7. Define Benchmark's strategy and road map as well as manage policy deployment in the areas of manufacturing, test, capability, lean manufacturing, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery and safety.
8. Identify, communicate and drive implementation of capital investments and improvement projects.
9. Ensures that best practices are developed and shared among sites, monitors progress to goals and helps with tools, training and resources where required
10. Drive the vision to ensure management empowers employees for ultimate ownership and engagement in the tactical actions.
11. Must be facts and data driven with attention to details, analytical & statistical knowledge, and good with numbers: will be expected to improve operational knowledge level of people through simple lean concepts
12. Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with the Company's policies & procedures.
13. Must be able to think strategically with a good vision for improving Quality & Operational Excellence.
14. Drive operational excellence initiatives in areas like delivery, productivity, etc.
15. Ensure that the team's adherence to QMS and ISMS standards.

- Work Experience : 20 Years of Relevant Experience
- Have excellent knowledge of Six Sigma concepts and be Six
- Sigma Master Black Belt certified.
- Min of 20 Yrs of Professional and Relevant Experience & 15 Yrs of People Management & Operational Excellence.
- Be a role model in this leadership position and inspire people to their fullest potential
- Built a Performance driven culture with Learning as the central tenant
- Requires key understanding of operational processes and methodology for leading sustainable improvement
- Requires foresight to anticipate problems and recognize opportunities for cost-effectively improving operations.
- Strategic vision with ability for tactical implementation
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence all levels throughout organization
- Process level audits are to be performed to meet the client requirement
