Vice President - Product - InsurTech

VP - InsurTech

Responsibilities:

- Develop and own Product strategy & roadmaps, drive the product development from concept to launch

- Keep track of product back-log and manage prioritization of features working closely with Engineering teams

- Partner with end-user teams to capture the needs and requirements through market research/ Benchmarking and stakeholder discussions

- Translate the business needs into product requirement documents and mockups

- Partner with architects and drive technical solutions, support engineering with design finalization

- Continuously assess the internal product capabilities, evaluate the potential for improvement for making the products simple and robust

- Partner with the leadership team to align on long term capabilities in line with organizational goals

- Be diligent in Product testing and own the Product performance through the Product life cycle

- Build high performing team of Product Managers and UI/ UX designers that will deliver the strategy and vision

Qualifications:

- Masters in IT/CS/CA or Business administration from Tier I/II Engineering or Business schools

- At least 6-8 years of experience in shipping products in fast-paced consumer-facing environment

- At least 2 years of experience in delivering product vision in a leadership position

- Come with an entrepreneurial bent of mind addressing the business problems

- A strong analytical, data-driven approach for problem-solving

- Demonstrate strong people management skills
