Vice President - Product Development - Microsoft Full Stack/Opensource Technologies - Startup

VP - Product Development - Norway based Start-up/Microsoft full stack+opensource technologies like django

Somebody with a real passion to work in a start-up would be an IDEAL FIT and should have worked in the US for at least 5+yrs

Individual is expected to set up a team of 7 -10 members and develop an investment management platform focused on alternative asset classes. Product would be a cloud-based software platform(windows with Azure would be the preferred option). The initial platform would be desktop followed by mobile application.

Ideal candidate should have:

- Microsoft full stack development + knowledge of open source platforms such as Django. Since this person is going to be leading the strategic direction, we also want him/her to recommend the right OS/platform for the client's investment management platform.

- He/she need not necessarily be a part of a large software development company, but important to have delivered software applications for large, demanding customers.

- Should have been in a product engineering role for the last 1- 2 yrs

- Should have been a Hands-on person in the above areas. Passion for software development, willingness to get involved to smallest details to ensure the product / user experience is as flawless as possible.
