We are seeking VP - Overseas Education Consultant for our client who can mentor and guide high-achieving students to craft unique, compelling applications for the world's best universities for undergrad education.
This role requires you to mentor and lead a team of consultants who support top high school students from around the world get into their dream universities across the US, UK, and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Student & Team Growth Planning: Drive manpower planning, design KPIs, and implement accountability frameworks to optimize both team performance and student success. Continuously refine performance metrics to ensure data-driven decision-making and targeted improvements.
- Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Structure and refine workflows to facilitate seamless integration between Consulting, Writing, Project Execution, and BDP teams. Develop cross-functional alignment strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce friction, and maximize the impact of each client engagement.
- Strategic Partnerships & External Engagement: Identify and secure collaborations with external partners, organizations, and institutions to create growth opportunities for scholars and the consulting team. Explore new markets and engagement models to position the company as a leader in the space.
- Consultant Development & Training: Design and implement structured training modules that empower consultants to excel in mentorship, admissions strategy, and client engagement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development through tailored workshops, peer coaching, and performance feedback mechanisms.
- Industry Representation & Brand Growth: Represent the company at key conferences, networking events, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility, establish thought leadership, and build meaningful partnerships. Champion their mission and success stories to reinforce its reputation as a premier consulting service.
- Client Success & Team Coaching: Ensure client delight by proactively addressing concerns, managing expectations, and driving solutions that exceed client needs. Coach consultants on resilience, problem-solving, and high-impact consulting skills, fostering a mindset of ownership and excellence.
- Client Escalation Management & 10-Star Experience: Develop and implement a structured escalation process to address client concerns with urgency and empathy. Equip consultants with advanced conflict resolution strategies, ensuring that every touchpoint with the company feels personalized, transparent, and solution-oriented. Set a gold standard for service excellence by continuously refining client engagement strategies, collecting feedback, and innovating service delivery to provide an unparalleled 10-star experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Master's from top colleges in India and abroad
- Preferred experience: 5+ years
- Excellent strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Project management & Client management
- Mentoring and coaching skills
- Knowledge of the study abroad application process
