Vice President - Operations - Textile

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Production Planning :

- To create and control yearly Production plan outlining objectives in terms of performance, budgeted items for the department's forecasted requirements and to communicate the same to the team members of all Units.

- Accountable for keeping the track of Unit-wise production vs plan on a daily basis for all the units as in charge of across mixing, spinning and finishing activities.

- Responsible for all the core production activities including mixing, spinning and finishing for all Units.

- Responsible for management of the plant production by ensuring that the required resources allocated to the units and are utilized optimally and efficiently.

- To ensure and direct the production team of all Units to perform in alignment with the units' production plan towards strategic goals

- To coordinate with other departments like raw materials, sales, Labor Office, Engineering etc. to ensure seamless operations.

Machine upkeep & maintenance cost :

- To ensure that good health of all Machines are maintained through adherence to preventive maintenance schedule and following proper operating procedure by the operators.

- To ensure that all high standard of house keeping is maintained across units for better health of machines etc.

- To ensure minimum break down of machines and also maintenance cost within budgeted maintenance cost.

Customer Satisfaction :

- Responsible for establishing robust customer complaints handling system to ensure timely resolving customer complaint linked with Process, Quality & other department to ensure a particular complaint is not repeated.

- Responsible for reduction in no. of customer complaints and increase in customer satisfaction level.

Increasing Efficiency :

- To ensure maximum plant capacity utilization and operating plant most efficiently to match all the customer orders.

- Monitor and manage input and output inventory and striving towards optimizing production cost of the plant.

- To regularly review and guide performance of the production team against the set performance indicators to maintain quality of production inputs, outputs and processes to meet the customer's requirements.

- To introduce best in class technology and management practices into the plant that would ensure that the cost of production comes down.

Team Management :

- Act as a mentor to the production team and provide directions to the team members as they execute their roles.

- Helping team members develop their technical acumen so that they can manage the production process more efficiently.

Industrial Relation & Safety :

- To ensure absolute labour peace, health & welfare of labour.

- To keep motivation & attendance of labour high.

- Ensure strict compliance to safety norms for safety of labour.

CA is mandatory.
