Company: One of our esteemed Bulk Drug Manufacturing Company.

About the Company:

Our client is one of the large conglomerate having diversified interest in Bulk Drugs and Agro chemicals having Plants located all over India with wide presence in the Market.

Group Turnover may be more than Rs 2000+ crores/annum.

Position Overview:

- The Cluster Head Operations will oversee the entire operational activities of our bulk drug manufacturing units.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and extensive experience in managing large-scale production facilities independently.

- This role requires strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

- Oversee daily operations of multiple manufacturing units to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.

- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.

- Ensure all manufacturing activities adhere to industry regulations and company standards.

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance production capacity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.

- Align operational strategies with company goals and market demands.

- Monitor industry trends and innovations to keep the company competitive.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Manage workforce planning, training, and development initiatives.

Financial Management:

- Prepare and manage budgets for operational activities.

- Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.

- Analyze financial performance and implement measures to achieve financial targets.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee compliance with GMP, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

- Implement and monitor quality control systems and procedures.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations.

- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders.

- Represent the company in industry forums and professional associations.

Qualifications:

Education:

- B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering.

- Experience:- 16 to 25 years of experience in the bulk drug/pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role heading operations independently.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.

- In-depth knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.

- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

- Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling manufacturing operations.

- Experience in implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
