Vice President - Operations
Responsible for revenue growth, client planning, client calling, portfolio development, and proposal/ presentation development/ delivery of Co's products and services to new clients and the expansion of the relationships.
STRATEGIC :
- Ensure resolution of service delivery challenges and incident management by liaising with locations and central operations team
- Ensure achievement of customer SLAs and client expectations
- Ensure quality service delivery to the client while maintaining Co's profitability
- Collaborate with pan India Operations team to achieve excellent service delivery as per defined client SLA requirements to receive minimal penalties based revenue losses
- Review the existing portfolio of services provided to the customers and add further high value solutions to expand current wallet share
- Gather and apply market intelligence to improve services offerings and delivery
OPERATIONAL -
- Ensure timely and accurate provision of reports to the clients as per the SLA
- Ensure Sales and client relations process adherence by the team via effective monitoring and support
- Escalate incidents and ensure resolution of lapses done by ops team to the Zonal Heads and Area Managers with regard to data capture, service delivery processes etc.
- Ensure smooth execution on bank audits
People -
- Manage key personnel's responsible for customer relationship, day to day operations and Report management
- Provide direction, motivation and training to the Key Account Managers, thus ensuring optimum performance
- Complete performance appraisal of the Key Account Managers in timely manner
CUSTOMER -
- Attend client service review meetings for assessing performance reports, service improvements, quality and process adherences
- Manage and maintain consistent good relations with client side (Bank/MSP/Retail) Relationship Managers
Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets :
1. MBA with 18-25 years in a senior operational leadership role Logistics/FMCG/ Consumer Durable/ Telecom/ Retail/ Service Industry is Preferred and at least last 5 years as a VP/AVP - Operations within a Business Unit
2. Innovative, displays initiative, is self-motivated and able to adjust quickly to changing business landscapes
3. Detail oriented and organized with strong time management skills
4. Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in a consistent manner
5. Must have a good math aptitude and high-level proficiency in MS Office Suite
6. Thorough knowledge of the practices and regulations that govern the industry and the implications of state and local regulations affecting Co's Service activities
7. Comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices associated with the analysis of business operations activities
8. Awareness of industry issues and competitive products/services
9. Excellent listening, written and verbal communications skills
10. Ability to gather, arranges, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to identify opportunities and formulate conclusions and recommended actions
11. Ability to set priorities, objectives and goals
12. Capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside the Industry and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public
13. Capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters
14. Communicate effectively and clearly with a broad range of employees across the organization, as well as external counterparts
15. Project a professional image to maintain credibility with customers and team members
