Responsibilities :

- Develop a culture that promotes effective communications, service excellence, teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and Associate satisfaction.

- Mentor GM's to establish successful operation of their assets; sets short-term and long range goals in collaboration with GM's to ensure the achievement of each property's defined performance metrics.

- Ensures responsible financial management of assigned assets at all times. Works with GMs to develop annual business plans and budgets, to accurately forecast financial performance and to deliver financial results in accordance with those budgets.

- Oversees implementation of sales, revenue management and marketing programs in order to achieve and exceed established RevPAR goals.

- Drives guest satisfaction by maintaining service quality standards this is accomplished by completing periodic property inspections, ensuring completion of Brand and Company training programs and initiating corrective action as necessary.

- Ensures that all assigned assets are properly maintained and protected.

- Critically analyzes all metrics (including but not limited to financial reports, Quality Assurance Inspections, Financial Audits, and Associate Turnover), assessing actual performance to defined benchmarks, identifying variances and initiating corrective action.

- Maximizes Associate performance and positive morale by serving Divisional Associates, through our Lead People, Manage Process philosophy.

- Ensures all HR practices and policies are adhered to at properties to include recruitment, employment matters, training, etc.

- Partners with ownership groups and property leadership to develop and execute Request for Replacement (RFR) plans.

- Visits all assets on a regular basis, assessing each operation's compliance to all standard operating procedures. Assists in solving any operational shortcomings. Documents findings from property visits and follows up to ensure that action items are promptly and effectively addressed.

- Works collaboratively with colleagues in Corporate Support disciplines such as Food & Beverage, Sales, Accounting, Revenue Management, Human Resources, Facilities and Procurement & Cost Management to maximize the performance of the hotels.

- Provides regular and effective updates to the Chief Operating Officer on the performance of the hotels and restaurants and the leaders in the Division.
