Vice President, Ecommerce Operations
- This position is a part of the Senior Management Team Reports to Chief Executive

Duties and Responsibilities :
- The VP of eCommerce Operations develops sound, well-thought-through strategies that will meet the company's objective to provide an unparalleled delivery experience for our customers
- Sets up detailed processes for every aspect of service delivery and customer experience including order processing, packaging, delivery, returns, and any other customer needs.
- Builds a robust organization staffed with committed, intelligent, and honest professionals
- Engineers and oversees logistics and fulfillment operations to improve overall productivity, efficiency and cost structure.
- Identifies new trends, operational solutions and value-add processes that create competitive advantages for the company.
- Develops and executes against a long-term, sustainable infrastructure plan to support the growth and strategic initiatives of the company.
- Implements and maintains best practices, including technology advances, policies and procedures.
- Develops and manages the company's fulfillment operations budget.
- Sets up and directly oversees the company's Supply chain infrastructure consisting of Distribution Centers, Warehouses, Pick-up points, transportation fleet, and other supporting assets.
- Directly manages a large team consisting of corporate staff, warehouse & logistics personnel, and on-the-ground resources.
Education and Experience :
- MBA in Operations or equivalent academic credentials
- Passionate about customers and their right to receive a world class experience from the company.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, transportation and fulfillment operations management.
- 12 + years of experience in, and solid understanding of supply chain best practices.
Desired Skills and Background :
- Strong e-commerce fulfillment management experience in high paced, high demand environments.
- Strong skills in process-engineering and ability to get into atomic level of detail for all critical processes in the delivery chain.
- Ability to work in a high pressure, time sensitive organization with an unrelenting focus on overall customer experience and a clear sense of purpose
- Ability to develop and maintain business relationships and work cross-functionally across teams in the organization.
- Exceptional thought leadership, people management and mentoring skills.
- Highly motivated with a proven track record of successful delivery.
- Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Must have demonstrated background in building and managing large organizations consisting of both direct and indirect reporting roles.
- Experience working with SAP ERP is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong understanding and appreciation of technology and its role in supporting service delivery and operations in an eCommerce environment.
- The candidate should demonstrate high levels of integrity, humility, ability to learn from experience, and lead the way in achieving the company's manifold objectives.
