Vice President - Operations (Distillery)

- Managing operations of multi-location units

- Driving KPI's and efficiency improvement

- Innovation, Best practices & search and spin

- Industry relations, Labour & HR

- Sourcing, acquiring and overseeing the production of seed, barley and malt for distillery operations

- Mashing, lautering and fermenting wash for the stills

- Pumping, distilling, cutting and proofing the whisky

- Creating and maintaining detailed records of production and the barrel program

- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness in the production facility

- Inspecting and maintaining the facility and equipment

- Teaching staff and clients about whisky process and history

- Blending aged product to meet consistent brand standards

- Participating in the hiring of production facility support staff

- Collaborating with Sales/Branding/Marketing department to achieve company goals

Qualification And Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, business or equivalent qualification & related field with 20+ years of experience in a Brewery/IMFL Industry or Beverage Industry and preferably Should have good & working knowledge in ENA

2. The successful applicant will be able to operate the full suite of distillery equipment from grain handling to barrel filling.

3. Demonstrated tolerance for the rigors of an eight to ten-hour day on the production floor over an extended period of months is necessary.

4. We are looking for a talented, highly-motivated, self-starter who is willing to tie their reputation to ours and climb the heights of the whisky world.

5. Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and a willingness to be challenged;

6. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to maintain positive, high-performance work atmosphere; and Good team facilitator with ability to work with other functions

7. Advanced knowledge of distilling operations and process equipment

8. An experienced multi-disciplined people manager

9. Exposure to safety critical operations

10. ERP systems knowledge, preferably SAP & Proficient with basic computer software such as the Microsoft Office suite.

11. Knowledge and experience of ISO22000, TPM & GPM practices.
