Vice President - Operations - Chlorinate Paraffin Plant

VP (Operations - Chlorinate Paraffin Plant) :

- Hands on experience in cost optimization, yield improvement and develop guidelines for continuous improvement

- Well versed with Statutory & Non-Statutory Compliances applicable to the industry.

- Succession Plan - Experience in Mentoring and developing people to next level

- Commercial bent of mind in areas of procurement, captive consumption of power, steam, Over Time reduction, Manpower Cost in new Hires, etc.

- Implementation of Process Improvement methods w.r.t. cost optimization and better control.

- Benchmarking High Standards of Housekeeping in Plant, Office Premises & Township, Scrap Mgt. etc.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Identify core areas for availability, development & their transportation to the unit.

- Directing, leading & motivating workforce; imparting trainings for accomplishing greater operational efficiency.

- Monitoring overall administration & operations of all departments for executing their jobs within cost & time parameters.

- Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

- Liaison with the Government Officials for redressal of issues and maintain good relations.

- Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub- functions and develops Budgets/ Policies/ Procedures to support the Business.

- Preparation, Implementation and control of Budget Section wise keeping in view of the proposed cane crushing target.

- Meeting timelines w.r.t. Off-seasonal works, Crushing days. Etc.

- Proposing the cost economical options to increase production, control losses, cap on inventory & lower production cost.

- Responsible for PBT as per the targets.

- Improve technology to minimize cost of production.

- Reduce wastages and un wanted expenditure.

- Repair & Maintenance (R&M) and Operations and Management (O&M) Budget.

- Risk Identification & Mitigation

- Continual improvement in process improvement and procedures.

- Introduce best practice

Qualification And Experience :

1. B.E (Chemical) with Minimum 20+ years of experience in handling the Chlorinated Paraffin's plant (Must) & having Experience in handling entire production of an Chlorinated Paraffin's manufacturing plant.

2. Well verse in handling statutory compliance related to Pollution control board and all other related to factories act.

3. Strong knowledge of Chlorinated Paraffin's manufacturing process.

4. Good at SSP machinery, instrumentation and chemical handling process.

5. Well versed in chemical knowledge.

6. Able to handle various Internal and External audits.

7. Well verse in data analysis and presentation
