Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling national/cross regional sales roles in both legacy companies and start-ups, particularly within the beauty/ personal care or related industries. This role demands a strategic leader with strong analytical skills, proven execution expertise, and the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years across territories/regions.
- Proven track record in managing sales across regions for both legacy companies and start-ups in personal care or related industry.
- Experience in scaling sales operations and driving growth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute the national retail strategy that aligns with Just Herbs' business goals and objectives.
- Build the go to market strategy, distributor management, store profitability approach
- Collaborate with Just Herbs leadership team to set up processes on commercial hygiene, new product launches, channel portfolio strategy, supply chain network
Sales Operations
- Oversee retail P&L and operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Manage both beauty advisor and retail channel to grow distribution of the brand
- Implement efficient sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and manage a national sales team, ensuring high performance and effective sales execution.
- Set clear performance metrics and provide regular coaching and feedback to support team development.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Market Analysis and Insights
- Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and optimize sales performance.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive landscape to senior management.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

Education
