Looking to hire a leader (VP) for one of the leading Apparel Brand in Bangalore to help them in creating strategies for new expansion, growth strategies, new business, Operation and implement/ execute the same (Pan India & International locations). This role will include right from identifying store locations, property evaluations, documentation, pre-launch, launching stores and store operations/ management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Identify Retail space for various retail properties both standalone and in malls.

- Understand market feasibility and competitor mapping

- Handling end-to-end Retail network expansion of the brand across the country and overseas.

- Sourcing & closing of deals with retailers as per Retail strategy set by the Management.

- Working closely with inter departments like Finance, Legal, Construction, Operation etc. for commercial aspects of lease agreements, registration of leases, renewals etc.

- Prepares accurate documentation in accordance with the current or proposed drawing standards for: Capital & Expense Initiatives, New Stores, Remodels/Conversions

- Prepare hardcopy and electronic presentations, including design pin ups, PowerPoint slide presentations, presentation books, and presentation plans

- Following up on building permits and review process with outside architecture firm and communicating red lines (revisions and corrections) with outside architectural firm

- Assist in the daily management and coordination architecture/engineering consultants, landlord contacts and local tenant coordinators

- Responsible for P&L for the brand expansion and ROI as mandated by the Management.

- Attend meetings with various business groups as well as outside vendors and consultants.

- Drives the coordination of the design process with relevant disciplines, to include: visual, marketing, operations, purchasing, real estate and construction.

- Coordination with the internal Designing and Projects and Procurement team.

- Focusing on market trends and shifts both in terms of competitors & customers along with mapping product performance.

- Excellent Negotiation and team management skills.

Candidate Requirement:

- 15+ years of experience in retail industry

- More than 7 years of experience in new growth / expansion role (identifying store locations, property identifications, negotiation, documentation)

- Experience in Pre-launch/ launch and Store Operations/ management

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Should be willing to travel
