Vice President - M&A/Private Equity - Investment Banking - IIM/MDI/FMS/CFA

One of our clients is looking for a VP - Investment Banking with the following profile at Mumbai :

Role Summary:

- End-to-end engagement from pitching to transaction closure. As a senior member of the team, VP will lead a team of analysts and provide senior level coverage for origination of M&A/PE deals

Key responsibilities:

- Client Relationships, Track record of independent origination and successful closure on M&A/PE mandates. Clarity of thought and the ability to understand the client's business and economics.

- Lead a team of analysts and drive end to end closure of deals including :

a] Preparing detailed Information Memorandum's showcasing our client's business and capabilities to solicit investment

b] Preparation of Pitch Books; Research and analysis of industry trends -Trading Comps and Transaction Comps

c] Valuation of companies by building comprehensive models using DCF, SOTP, and other relevant valuation techniques

d] Hand-holding mid-market Indian corporates to collate data and information and prepare transaction collaterals

Qualification :

- Engineering from IIT / NIT

- MBA from Tier I B-School (IIMs/FMS/MDI) CFA would be an added advantage Financial Consulting / Investment Services background Batch - 2004 to 2006
