Vice President - Teradata

This position is for a lead architect having 10+ years hands-on skills in both data warehousing and reporting in the Financial Services industry. The position is in the Banking Technology team and will require delivering tactical and strategic solutions for our business partners - Private Banking Group. The individual will participate in the development on data warehouse projects and consult on other strategic and tactical database initiatives.

To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer solutions that integrate current capabilities, vendor capabilities and proprietary system builds. The candidate must have strong communication skills and be able work with both users and lead IT team members in a highly collaborative team environment. Candidate should be disciplined, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and delivery-focused.

Candidate must possess a strong background in the following :

- Business and data analysis

- Communication and Team management skills

- Design and implementation of data warehouse and data marts

- Teradata along with performance tuning experience on this platform.

- DB2 and SQL Server.

- SQL and database performance tuning skills

- Scripting in UNIX/Linux Environment (shell scripting, Perl, Autosys)

- Reporting and Analytical tools such as Business Objects, Tableau and QlikView

Experience in the following is a plus :

- Experience in Informatica or similar ETL tool

- Experience in the Financial Industry

- Experience with predictive analysis
