Job Profile

- S/he will be responsible for managing a cluster of technology platforms, would continuously evaluate technology solutions, and induct cutting edge technology stack to drive business excellence at the company.

- The incumbent will work along with the Head of Information Technology (IT) in creating a one of its kind digital infrastructure lending organization by leveraging digital & data capabilities and induct new age technologies for developing a platform approach to the operating model.

- The incumbent would continuously look for digitizing opportunities and build intelligent automation workflows in the core banking processes by way of deploying scalable, modular, low cost and well governed technology platforms.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities

The key job duties/responsibilities are enumerated below:

Business Applications Strategy & Management:

- Define and execute the bank's application strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Manage and oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of core banking systems, treasury, risk, compliance etc.

- Ensure seamless integration between internal and external systems.

Digital Transformation & Innovation:

- Lead digital transformation initiatives across the organisation to make the company as a digital first bank.

- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies across the application stack.

Vendor & Partner Management:

- Manage relationships with software vendors, fintech partners, and system integrators.

- Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and licensing agreements for enterprise applications.

- Evaluate and onboard new technology partners to enhance technology adaptation.

IT Governance, Security & Compliance:

- Ensure all applications comply with banking regulations.

- Implement best practices for application security, data protection, and fraud prevention.

- Work closely with risk, compliance, and cybersecurity teams to mitigate application vulnerabilities.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Lead and mentor a team of Business analysts, Project Managers, Partner Resources.

- Collaborate with business heads, operations, risk, and finance teams to deliver technology solutions.

- Present technology strategies and updates to executive leadership and board members.

- Any other assignment as may be assigned by the Bank from time to time

Professional Experience:

- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in in Project Management / Software Development/ Business Application Management/ Technology Consulting in Financial Services domain.

- Experience in implementing and managing core financial services applications like Loan Origination System, Loan Management System, Core Financial Services Transaction Management System, Risk Management System, Treasury Management System etc.

- Strong Knowledge in cloud technologies and API driven banking.

- Hands-on experience with enterprise integration, middleware, and microservices architecture.

- Deep understanding of banking regulations, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.

- Strong Project Management and IT Governance skills.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.

Educational Qualifications:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Electronics/Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.

Preferred : Postgraduation in Management will be preferred.
