About the firm

Our client is looking to hire a Vice President - Investor Relations. This is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious global fundraising team which is focussed on attracting large pools of capital from LPs as India moves to a $ 10 trillion economy.

The right candidate will be responsible for supporting our Investor Relations Team to curate capital for our target customer segment. This is a full-time role, based in Bengaluru or Mumbai, or remote for the right candidate. The person hired will work across teams in India, Singapore, Europe and the USA.

Must have:

- 5+ years of experience and a proven track record in fundraising in India for private equity, venture capital funds, or similar financial vehicles.

- Strong insight into end-to-end fundraising processes and multiple-round fundraising. Experience running front-end deals is desirable

- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and other partners and a network within the investment community

- A strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to overall fund strategy

- Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance in financial reporting. This includes a strong grasp of post fundraising periodic reporting, disclosures and processes

- Understanding of the startup ecosystem and the ability to convey our fund's differentiators effectively

What will you do

-Fundraising:

Be the force multiplier in efforts identifying potential partners to the pipeline. You will front end the fund-raising effort at times

- Investor Relations:

Back up the head of IR in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential investors. Provide regular updates on fund performance. Build on the systems for connecting to new LPs partners and maintaining strong trust with existing/ onboarded partners. Manage all workflows to ensure the Head of IR can go across existing and potential partnership conversations smoothly with no loss of information or urgency

- Networking:

Leverage your networks and actively engage with the startup ecosystem, industry events, and relevant forums to expand our network of potential investors and partners

- Communication:

Clearly articulate our fund's value proposition to potential investors, ensuring a deep understanding of our unique approach

- Engage and enhance the company's relationships with LPs, investors, analysts, and other stakeholders for the firm.

- Analyse and monitor industry trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment
