Vice President - Investment Middle Office - Financial Services

The Investment Middle Office team is responsible for:

- Investment Operations Transaction Management including trade settlements; collateral management and corporate actions processing

- Reference Data Management

- Performance reporting and Analytics

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing and developing the team including goal setting and monitoring

- Acting as the key point of contact with the various regional Investment Middle Office teams

- Collaborating with regional teams to ensure optimum delivery of global business service model

- Managing the daily operations of the team ensuring all deliverables are met relating to timeliness and accuracy

- Performing end of day checks to ensure that all deliverables have been reviewed and updated by the team

- Timely escalation of issues and follow-ups with relevant teams if necessary on unresolved issues

- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and drive optimisation

- Workforce planning, budgeting and resourcing to meet business requirements

- Ensuring appropriate controls are in place to prevent risk, ensuring adherence to internal and external audit requirements

- Developing and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships including asset managers and custodians

About you:

This role will ideally see you come from a funds management or custodian background with experience in a similar Investment Operations role in a global financial services firm. You possess experience with one or all trade support, collateral, corporate actions or valuations teams. You will have strong knowledge of the front to back trade flows and transaction processing across various asset classes, good knowledge of settlement of equity, bonds and derivative asset class and corporate action events and processing. You will also have a proven track record of delivering change, providing strategic direction, people engagement and leadership.

You are willing to work in an afternoon/evening shift however you may be required to work as part of the existing morning/early afternoon shift for the initial few months.
