Our Client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Vice President to join Our Clients established Investment Banking Division (IBD) team, specializing in Coverage within the Pharmaceuticals sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the complete transaction lifecycle, from origination to successful execution, for our pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Sector Leadership: Leverage your 6-8 years of experience in the Pharmaceuticals sector to develop a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics, identify growth opportunities, and formulate strategic coverage plans.

Client Relationship Management: Build and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across pharmaceutical companies, fostering trust and acting as a trusted advisor.

Deal Origination & Execution Expertise: Proactively source and develop new business opportunities, leveraging your market knowledge and origination skills to bring high-value transactions to fruition. Lead deal teams through the entire transaction lifecycle, from origination and structuring to negotiation and closing, ensuring seamless execution.

Compelling Pitch Book Development: Conceptualize and lead the creation of persuasive pitch books that effectively articulate client value propositions and differentiated deal theses, capturing client interest and securing mandates.

Market Intelligence & Insights: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and competitor activity within the Pharmaceuticals sector, generating valuable market intelligence that informs strategic decision-making for clients and deal teams.

Financial Modeling & Valuation Acumen: Possess a strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring, adeptly applying these skills to analyze deals and maximize client value.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Research, IBD Product, and Sales teams to drive efficient transaction execution and deliver exceptional client service.

Due Diligence Oversight: Oversee and manage the due diligence process for live transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Mentorship & Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Knowledge Management: Contribute to the team's knowledge base by maintaining databases and case studies of relevant transactions within the Pharmaceuticals sector.
The Ideal Candidate:- 6-8 years of demonstrably successful experience in Investment Banking Coverage/Origination, preferably within the Pharmaceuticals sector.
- Proven track record of originating, structuring, and executing high-value transactions for pharmaceutical clients.
- In-depth understanding of the Pharmaceuticals industry landscape, competitive dynamics, and deal trends.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and advocate for clients' interests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:- CA/MBA in Finance (preferred)
