About Technical Accounting Group :

- The Technical Accounting Group key responsibilities include, provision of accounting advice to other areas of the bank, partnering finance and business units in relation to the integrity of the application of accounting policies, and identification and management of accounting risk.

Overall purpose of role :

- Provide technical accounting guidance applicable to reporting. Support Finance and Business functions in understanding accounting applicable to their activities, products, and transactions and support relevant areas in assessment of accounting judgmental matters.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership :

- The candidate will need to evidence an effective and proven team-working ability which is essential to ensure suitable collaboration and positive interaction with stakeholders as well as downwards and upwards management skills.

The successful candidate will cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders from different areas of the bank and different levels of seniority including :

- Other TAG members

- Finance Management

- Colleagues from other areas of Finance, in particular, Financial Control, Product Control, BP&A, Business CFOs, O&T Finance, CRES and other

- Business stakeholders

- New and Amended Product Approval (NAPA) Team

- Change Teams

- Depth Knowledge In IFRS tool
