Vice President - Infrastructure Services - eCommerce

WE ONLY NEED B2C E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE CANDIDATE

This role is a key contributor in the formulation of IT direction and strategy and is responsible for effective implementation as well as review of IT infrastructure and technology applications, systems and internal processes across the businesses.

JOB PURPOSE :

- Formulate, strategies and implement IT policies and road-maps in order to optimise and streamline internal processes and communication across departments and between key stakeholders.

- Ensure that the organization is equipped with the infrastructure and process capabilities required to support the internal product, business growth and success.

- The VP Infrastructure services will be part of the leadership team and plays an integral role in the company's strategic direction, development, and future growth.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Handle complete internal communication for ecommerce ecosystem

- Should have handled multiple ERP Implementation for B2C ecommerce platform

- Lay out the internal technology architecture for both immediate and long term

- Point of contact for Operation team

- Optimisation of resource management

- Discover and implement new technologies,ideantifying new tools that yield competitive advantage

- Need to work on Conversational commerce, delivered via Chatbots/ personalised search and product recommendations at scale / Augmented reality

- Communicate internal technology strategy to key stakeholders

- Mentor and manage multiple teams across ERP, BI, Product

- Define the components required to organize information at scale

- Formulate the IT policy, strategy and procedures in line with the overall growth strategy of the business to ensure effective and efficient fulfilment of all aspects of business

- Develop IT infrastructure enablement plan as per functional and product/business strategy

- Stakeholder interaction for necessary improvements and adjustments to internal technology processes

CANDIDATE PROFILE :

Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in leading the system/ product/ life-cycle (some of which in a CIO role within E-Commerce)

- Management/ Delivery Management of infrastructure, technology platforms and governance

- Candidate should have experience in building high calibre team with a strong culture of innovation

- Should have experience in conversational commerce, delivered via Chatbots/ personalised search and product recommendations at scale / Augmented reality experience is a plus

- Should have excellent combination of both technology and product skills in order to successfully design the functional and technical aspects of the business strategy

- Should have an understanding of how technological instruments function in complex environments, which include relationships among other functions (Operations/Logistics, Finance, Marketing and Commercial)

- Prior experience in B2C Industry is a must
