Vice President - Information Technology
About:
- We are looking for an experienced and visionary Vice President of IT (VP-IT) to lead a strategic transformation of our IT department.
- This executive role will be pivotal in transitioning IT from a cost center to a key driver of business growth and operational excellence.
- Reporting directly to the CAO, the VP-IT will define and execute a comprehensive strategy to address current challenges while aligning IT with broader business objectives.
- The ideal candidate is a proven technology leader with a strong background in IT best practices across infrastructure, development, and telephony.
- A forward-thinking mindset and a deep understanding of emerging technologies such as AI will be critical in driving innovation and measurable business value.
- The VP-IT must be a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with practical execution, fostering a collaborative environment between IT and business stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Leadership: 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior roles overseeing large-scale IT transformations (40+ IT staff).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven Impact: Demonstrated success in transforming underperforming IT departments into high-performing, strategic assets that align with business goals.
- Technological Expertise: Expertise in emerging technologies like AI/ML, cloud computing, and automation, with a strong understanding of ITIL and IT service management best practices.
- Operational Focus: Extensive experience improving operational efficiency and ensuring seamless integration across IT infrastructure, particularly in call center ecosystems.
- Financial Acumen: Strong track record of managing budgets and demonstrating IT ROI.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide high-performing teams, while building strong relationships with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Transformation Strategy: Lead a thorough evaluation of current IT operations, identify key areas for improvement, and define a clear, actionable roadmap for transformation.
- Alignment with Business Goals: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their challenges and develop tailored technology solutions that align IT with overall business objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Implement ITIL frameworks, optimize processes, and drive automation to improve operational efficiency, reduce recurring issues, and enhance service delivery.
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, leveraging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and automation to create competitive advantages and streamline operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback loops, leverage data to predict and resolve issues, and create a culture of proactive problem-solving and ongoing optimization.
- Performance Management: Define and monitor KPIs to assess IT performance, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
- Governance & Compliance: Build a robust IT governance framework, ensuring clear roles, streamlined decision-making, and adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
