The company has recently raised funds from a renowned Private Equity fund and is keen to invest further in its organizational capabilities.
Objective: The company is looking for a seasoned HR professional who will be a key thought leader to the CEO and drive the HR function and Organizational culture to enable the company to achieve its operational objectives.
Prior qualifications:
- ~7+ years experience in HR function in a mid-size professionally run company.
- Of which at least ~1-3 years of a leadership role in the HR function
- Experience with the rollout and management of HRMS systems will be a plus
- Experience in e-commerce/technology/travel companies is good to have
Responsibilities:
Define, communicate and drive the mandate and scope of the HR function:
- Develop HR policies
- Analyze the effectiveness of our HR procedures and tools
- Lead employer branding efforts (like recruitment marketing)
- Formulate career development plans, clear organization structure, and progression path
Employee lifecycle:
- Work with business functions to identify hiring needs
- Drive recruitment, conduct the first round of interviews
- Onboarding, training of new hires
- Setting annual goals and ongoing performance appraisals, tracking KRAs achieved vs target KRAs
- Streamlining the end-of-year appraisal process including compensation, promotion and career progress.
Organizational Design and Evolution:
- Map the org structure; identify organizational improvements over time
- Proactively plan for organisational change in order to support growth initiatives
People integration post acquisitions:
- Implementation of HRMS tools to manage the employee lifecycle
- Track external talent within the industry
KRA's:
- Hiring pipeline fulfilment
- Rollout of transparent/timely/effective assessment processes, KPIs, and regular review cycles
- Career development, org design
- Low Attrition, Glassdoor ratings
- HR compliance management
