The incumbent will be responsible for HR Role for manufacturing plants and will be located at Yamunanagar:
The Person will be responsible for Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Performance Management, Talent Management, Training, Compensation Management, Welfare Measures and Benefits, Employee Engagement etc.
The detailed responsibilities will be:
A. Manpower Planning and Productivity:
i) Work with BU Heads in reviewing their Organization Structures, Manpower Plans in line with Business Plans
ii) Deploy Mechanisms on Job evaluation norms and assist BU Heads/HODs in re-organizing their structures for improving the productivity and to identify the vacancies and surpluses, stars and poor performers
iii) Consolidate the Manpower Plans of all the BU Heads for review by the Whole Time Director, CHRO and Managing Director
iv) Monitor the Manpower plans once in a quarter with BU Heads
B. Recruitment:
i) Responsible for Recruitment of all staff positions (excluding Band A ) and workmen
ii) Ensure smooth onboarding and Induction Processes for GETs / JETs and lateral hiring as per the defined processes and to deploy Buddy/Mentoring processes
C. Performance Management and Talent Management:
i) Work with BU Heads and HODs for effective implementation of performance management systems including goal setting of KRA/KPIs, Performance review and performance appraisal process and promotions
ii) Work with BU Heads/WTD on Job Rotation and to create succession backups
iii) Process the feedback on PMS challenges/implementation issues to BU Heads/WTD /CHRO for improving the PMS system
D. Training and Development:
i) Collate the Training needs of staff and work with CHRO and BU Heads sist Units in developing a Training calendar for Technical and Behavioral programs
ii) Coordinate with CHRO for Leadership Training for talented employees as identified through the Talent Management Process
E. HR Policy formulation, review and Compensation Benchmarking
i) Process the feedback of employees /BU Heads with WTD/CHRO on HR processes and Policies from time to time
ii) Develop welfare measures for creating vibrant environment
F. Employee Engagement:
i) Drive Employee Engagement activities across the units for creating fun at workplace, team bonding
ii) Monitor the effectiveness of these activities and participation and involvement of employees across levels and take corrective measures
G. Employee Attrition & Employee Interface:
i) Periodically measure employee concerns /issues of all the plants for improving the morale and retention and process the feedback with CHRO & WTD
ii) Deploy HR MIS for the Unit/Manufacturing plants
iii) Enable the Line Managers in creating Caring Environment
H. Areas of Expertise Needed:
HR Strategy Planning; HR Processes of Manpower planning, Performance Management System, Talent Management, Succession Planning; Ability to influence Unit Heads/BU Heads/HODs; Expertise in building collaborative work environment.
I. Experience:
i) HR Head of a plant with strong orientation on HR Processes or Strong HR experience for championing of most of the areas listed above
