Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Vice President (VP) of HR Compliance & Employee Relations to lead our HR efforts. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our HR practices and policies comply with all relevant local, state, and national laws and regulations. You will lead the Employee Relations department, ensuring the company's policies and practices align with legal requirements and best industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting compliance, employee engagement, addressing workplace concerns, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Compliance: Stay updated on all relevant labour laws and regulations at the local, state, and national levels and ensure that HR policies and practices align with these regulations.

2. Strategic Employee Relations: Develop and execute a strategic employee relations plan that aligns with the company's goals and values.

3. Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance while aligning with the company's values and objectives.

4. HR Audits and Monitoring: Conduct regular internal HR audits to identify areas of non-compliance and develop strategies for corrective action. Monitor and assess compliance risks.

5. Training and Education: Provide training and educational programs to HR staff and management to promote compliance awareness and understanding, employee relations, conflict resolution, and diversity and inclusion.

6. Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior leadership and regulatory authorities as required. Analyze compliance and employee relations data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and recommend proactive solutions.

7. Investigations: Lead or oversee investigations into employee complaints, allegations, or violations of company policies, ensuring a fair and objective process.

8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.

9. Third-Party Relationships: Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies as necessary.

10. Ethical Standards: Promote and enforce ethical standards and values across the organization.
