A VP- HR Business Support role holder is expected to possess some knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and people management processes in the context of the Global inhouse Centre / site they are located in.
In addition, the role holder supports the implementation of global strategy and governance and control framework within the remit including but not limited to:
- Statutory & Internal Compliance
- Employee Life Cycle Management
- Vendor Management
- Other Administrative Activities
- Entity Regulatory Compliance
- Site HR support and Governance - Leaver and Payroll management
- Internal Risk and Compliance, Incident Management/BCP/Audits
- AOP and Budgeting
- Vendor Management and Governance
- Local HR systems
The key tasks will include some or all of the following:
- Audit, Risk and Compliance support to ensure that compliant to various internal and GSM requirements, by reinforcing internal procedures
- Ensure both internal compliance and external regulatory requirements
- Enable the ongoing identification of operational and regulatory risk, ensuring clear mitigating plans are defined, tracked and implemented
- Lead the India HR utility team for aspects related to Employee Life cycle management, HRMI, BCP and Statutory Compliance related aspects.
- Work in tandem with the site management and HRBP in support of employee life cycle by understanding requirements and execute solutions as appropriate.
- Improve the consistency of service to our employees/customers through continuous process improvements - through identification and improvement
- Assisting with or Lead the execution of key strategic people transformation initiatives and activities in support of the location
- Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback
- Planning, support and governance processes that enable effective HR services / activities
- Evaluate and analyze management information relating to external service providers of their provision, monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honored
- Support in forums and committees to represent view of HR
