Job Title Head - Finacle

Location : Airoli, Mumbai

A.Position Purpose: 

The position : 

- Directly shapes CBS strategies and execution of the same

- Carries Technology & product responsibility

- Builds important/influencing contacts with key stakeholders (internal and external)

- Is responsible for decisions / activities that have significant impact on bank's roadmap for CBS.

- Takes complete ownership of CBS application platform

- Ensures projects are delivered on time with a world class quality, within budget and agreed scope

- Guides the teams to work with internal and external partners on Finacle.

- Oversees all 3 functions for CBS: Run the Bank, Change the Bank & Transform the Bank

- Provides optimum technology solutions and support.

B.Position Responsibilities : 

Sr. Key Responsibilities : 

1 Strategic:

- Set strategic direction on CBS to provide support to Business growth plans.

- Oversee consultative partnerships across multiple stakeholders with strong understanding of CBS and underlying technology requirements

2 Change:

- Be fully accountable for execution of projects in CBS

- Drive the team to implement and deliver projects and enhancements in CBS

- Advise the team on strategies & experimentation to achieve business goals with minimal disruption and significant cost savings

3 Stakeholder:

- Manage multiple stakeholders, both internal & external.

4 Uptime:

- Ensure 99.9999% availability of CBS

5 Incident Management:

- SLA's are met

- Permanent solutions are put in place to avoid recurrence

6 Audit/GRC:

- Guide the teams to manage the Audits conducted by ISG and IA team for the Core Banking Applications.

- Ensure there are minimum audit observations and close the open observations as per the timeline provided.

- Comply with the IT Governance Policy and Process for the Change and Release Management.

7 Budget:

- Manage and monitor the CAPEX and OPEX budget utilization

C.Qualifications and Experience Requirement

Qualifications : 

Essential : 15+ Yrs

Graduate minimum, PG or Management graduate preferred

Experience : 

Essential - Strong CBS technology skills and functional understanding

- Exposure to information security and compliance requirements

- Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders including multiple vendor teams

- Project management experience

- 10+ Yrs experience in a relevant domain, managing similar applications

D.Competency Requirements : 

a.Technical Skills : 

Skill Attribute : 

Technical Skills - Knowledge of Finacle (, both technical & functional)

- Good understanding of technology stack and databases

- Exposure to new age technologies will be an added advantage

- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Must be willing to take initiatives, accept new responsibilities
