Responsible for heading domestic & international sales. Responsibility include driving top-line and bottom-line objectives through attainment of sales value, network management, collection analysis, new product launches, stock management and market analysis.
SALES:
- Handlesales operations to achieve increased growth & profitability
- Achieve primary and secondary sales target for his brand / product
- Formulate & implement sales & distribution strategies to extend our brand availability throughout the country
- Handle dealers and distribution and product distribution at best distribution system i.e. credit control, discounts, payments and collections
- Identify new streams for revenue growth & develop plans to build consumer preference
- Set the target and manage the team, to achieve the targets (Asst Managers, TSI's and Executives)
- Review targets on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and implement effective ways to improve the sales
- Report and present monthly sales performance, market scenario, competitive activities, future plans etc.
- Achieve sales, coverage and merchandising target through sales force in the assigned territory and take initiative to improve performance of sales team
- Implement consumer and trade promotions through the sales team
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to manage logistics including warehousing
- Work closely with Marketing team and participate in various marketing activities
- Coordinate with Marketing team to ensure proper merchandising of products at various outlets and other sales points
CHANNEL MANAGEMENT:
- Understand and develop new channels and ramp up across Europe &North America
- Ensure geographical expansion and distribution expansion by improving direct and indirect coverage
- Drive sales productivity using sales IT tools
CUSTOMER ACQUISITION & RETENTION:
- Develop relationships with key OEMs
- Create a proper feedback mechanism for existing products and new product development
- Assess the customer preferences for product lines and provide tyres which meet the desired specifications and quality levels
- Understand and address the gaps in customer and channel perception through market study and drive improvement in customer and dealer score
- Coordinate with R&D for New Product Development
PRICING:
- Calculate fixed and variable costs associated with the product and set pricing objectives for profit maximization.
- To ensure price parity with key competitors in aftermarket and OEM and to make plans for bridging the price gap if any
