We are looking for an VP of People Operations to lead our current HR team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a holistic and sustainable People strategy in support of Organization next phase of growth. This is a unique opportunity to meaningfully shape and execute an end to end employee experience: talent acquisition/recruiting, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, career pathing, compensation and benefits planning, change management, employee engagement and retention, culture, DEI, and offboarding.

Responsibilities Include:

- Inspiring, developing, and leading a service-oriented team of People Operations.

- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's People Operations department.

- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes.

- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, safety management, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.

- Design and develop clear operational structures, career development, and performance management processes- providing our team with everything they need to thrive at our company while ensuring we can hire and retain top talent.

- Build on and deliver a culture first onboarding program.

- Craft talent acquisition strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs.

- Ensure the organization's design and structure continues to reflect the priorities of the business and its growth strategy.

- Evaluate, develop, and implement a competitive compensation and benefits package.

- Design processes for compliance & risk management around People processes like POSH, Safety, etc.

- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging practices at every stage of the employee lifecycle, ensuring awareness of underrepresented perspectives and training on equitable and inclusive procedures.

- Lead, lift, and mentor members of the People Ops team.

- Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO and serve as a valued strategic contributor.

About You

- Deep expertise in the People function and prior experience scaling and developing high-growth companies, preferably within the food and agriculture industry.

- Experience managing HR in a distributed global workforce across multiple geographies.

- Ability to drive efficient People Operations, data and analytics functions that drive insight into employee performance and engagement.

- Proven experience working with the executive leadership team to rapidly scale a business while maintaining a strong company culture.

- Expertise in change management strategy.

- Experience with building or leading a talent acquisition function.

- Proven success in delivering high-impact People programs around performance development, team engagement and retention.

- Track record as a flexible leader who can operate at a highly strategic level, but can also perform all tactical talent and people-related duties for the company.

- Passionate about Organization mission and company culture.

- High emotional intelligence and an ability to navigate and discuss important topics across all levels of an organization.

- A true collaborator who acts with grace, humility, inclusiveness, and open-mindedness.
