Vice President - Global Cash Management (MNC Bank)
Our client is a MNC Bank and looking for candidates with Banking industry experience of Escrow Accounts only.
Introduction:
The main purpose of the role is to support the growth ambition of the Indian Payments & Cash Management (PCM) business by developing & driving the escrow services business. The incumbent will be expected to structure and execute escrow deals.
Aligned to the overall India PCM strategy, the individual works closely with Relationship Directors and Global Relationship Directors in identifying escrow business opportunities. The role will require a strong knowledge of escrow accounts and overview of the allied regulatory and legal consideration. The incumbent should be a subject matter expert and should be able to balance deal sourcing and execution while managing stakeholders across legal, finance, compliance, etc.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To drive Escrow mandates and own the India P&L for escrow services across client segments
- Business Development - implement a clear business origination plan/strategy to originate escrow deals by leveraging existing global corridors as well as identifying new channels for lead generation
- Building and developing a network within the regions, particularly with ICB and stakeholders globally.
- Covert relationship leads into sales and maximise opportunities through proactive identification of opportunities
- Sales & Pipeline management - develop market action and account plans for key clients, pipeline and deal management, strong stakeholder management across verticals
- Stay abreast of market and regulatory developments, acting as a subject matter expert for further product development
- Take ownership of structuring the solution and negotiation of documents by liaising actively with all stakeholders across legal and compliance
- Ensure a strong risk discipline, demonstrate prudence, sound judgement and appropriate and timely escalations in the management of all types of risk applicable to the role
- Actively support marketing and client events.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years' experience working in a business development or sales team
- Strong knowledge of the Indian corporate and financial markets
- Excellent knowledge of cash management, liquidity and global payment solutions
- Experience in sales management; pipeline and stakeholder management
- Strong commerciality and understanding of relative value of deposits and money transmission
- Strong understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory governance
