Overview: As the Head of HR for the Sales, Marketing & Distribution organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the business objectives and contribute to the growth and success of the company. You will lead a team of HR professionals and partner closely with senior leadership to drive HR initiatives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives and growth plans of the Sales, Marketing & Distribution organization.
- Partner with senior management to align HR initiatives with departmental goals and ensure effective execution.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Lead the recruitment efforts for critical roles within the Sales, Marketing & Distribution teams, ensuring a robust talent pipeline.
- Develop strategies to attract, assess, and onboard top talent, particularly in competitive markets.
- Implement effective retention strategies to minimize turnover and maximize employee engagement.
Employee Development and Performance Management:
- Design and implement programs for employee development, career progression, and succession planning.
- Drive performance management processes to ensure clarity in goals, regular feedback, and alignment with business outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
- Exposure to Success Factors preferred.
- Compensation & Incentives strategy and operations experience essential.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Oversee all HR operations including compensation and benefits, payroll, HRIS management, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations, staying updated on changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Develop and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the Sales, Marketing & Distribution teams.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR leader, preferably in a Sales, Marketing & Distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
