Client Details : Our client is one of the leading and well established insurance player with a strong presence in the Indian market.

Description :

Reporting to the Head FP&A you will be responsible for :

- Shared Services team empowers the Operations, Technology and Digital teams.

- This team manages the strategy, planning, budgeting, training, outsourcing and process controls for the largest non-sales patch in the organization. To run efficient and profitable operations, it is imperative to plan effectively for all large projects as well as unit level transactions.

- Technology and Digital are strategic growth pillars while Operations ensure running an efficient and profitable organization.

- VP - Strategy and Planning will be responsible for evolving the functional strategy, planning for COO's patch and managing all organization spends for these verticals.

- He/she will help arrive at the right strategic decisions for build vs. buy, Capex vs. Opex etc, identify the projects that deliver the biggest impact, and be the gatekeeper of all the spends.

- He/she will play an active role in demand-supply management and manage a team to execute and report expenditures.

- Annual strategy for Operations (policy issuance, claims, underwriting, renewals etc), IT and Digital functions and Identification of cost save opportunities

- Proposal for vendor partner strategy and Identification of large impact projects

- Demand collation and prioritization for cost heads and monitor big rock project health and milestone completion

- Calculation of run rate and burn rate vs. allocated budgets

- Departmental communication for management forums like board meetings, CEO/COO townhall

- Identify potential regulatory outages and proactively manage the risks

Profile : MBA with 10+ years work experience and strong technical expertise in FP&A supporting the operations, technology and digital teams for any organization.
