Principal responsibilities:

- Work with sub value streams and Future Design Team to deliver tangible benefits to Financial Crime.

- Work with the wider Value stream, sub-value stream to align to design principles and adhere to optimization practices.

- Ensure process changes and improvements are agreed with relevant stakeholders; and are documented appropriately.

- Build a strong partnership within Future Design, SVS's and Optimisation community of practice, learning and developing from each other.

- Build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders, adopting a collaborative approach to the design and execution of optimisation projects with minimum conflict.

- Maintain close relationships with teams at global and regional level, in additional to stakeholders across the FC Detection & Investigations Value Stream

- Build relationships with the wider Global R&C stakeholders to collaborate on improvement opportunities, adopt best practices, solve business process problems, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

- Demonstrate effective teamwork, engagement and collaboration across FC D&I and peer groups.

- Embody bank's values, setting the highest standards through your personal behaviour, interaction with others and in the expectations, you set for Financial Crime.

- Take ownership, making smart decisions to deliver the optimisation strategy.

Qualifications:

- Experience of successfully delivering numerous complex process improvement projects, with a strong background working in roles requiring continuous improvement.

- Experience of defining and shaping a project / optimisation approach to tackle a high-level problem or opportunity.

- Strong knowledge and experience of process mapping, process design and process reengineering using a variety of tools and techniques; Utilising Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile

- Proven application of DMAIC and applying a range of techniques across the framework

- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving discussions

- Critical thinking, being inquisitive and ability to use initiative without guidance.

- Strong analytical skills, resourceful, creative, and adept at solving complex issues.

- Ability to work autonomously, defining and driving activity for project engagements, and also collaborate as part of a wider team

- Experience of leading, guiding, and coaching others to deliver common outcomes

- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, including the ability to create and present concise and informative presentations.
