Vice President - Financial Accounting & Reporting - BFSI

- Perform Legal entity controller responsibilities for business entities of varied complexity

- Regular compliance activities which form part of ongoing monitoring and control - monthly financial review of balances, board reporting, tax returns

- Work with the regional Finance teams to ensure analysis of transactions and application of accounting policies and guidance are consistently executed throughout the region

- Extensive IFRS based financial reporting - preparing & review of financial statements and supporting them with analytical reviews including audit query management; and will involve, coordination and continued monitoring across a large team and stakeholder group.

- Implementation of new accounting standards, and review and remediation as required for application of existing requirements

- Develop a strong business understanding over time and use it to provide context to accounting and financial matters.

- Demonstrate capability and willingness to be "Hands-on".

- Work with the regional Finance teams to ensure analysis of transactions and application of accounting policies and guidance are consistently executed throughout the region

- Support the design and delivery of accounting training materials to other teams, infrastructure functions and front office
