Vice President - Finance - Internet/Online

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is a global venture capital fund that is focused on investing in tech companies across sectors in India & South East Asia.

BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE:

As a key member of the leadership team, the individual will lead the financial operations and Investor Relations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Setting up internal processes around taxation, accounting, audit, MIS, budgeting,, internal and external reporting

- Work with outsourced partners to drive all financial matters,

- Manage all aspects of financial reporting and manage investor relationships along with the partners.

- Monitoring in day-to-day operations of the fund w.r.t new investments, exits and for regular functioning of funds

- Understanding regulatory changes and advising investment teams around the same

- Lead due diligence process during fundraising

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND:

- Chartered Account or MBA Finance

- 7 to 12 years post qualification experience

- Proven experience in finance role with a Start-up

- Experience of managing financial reporting and compliance
